Production of New Styrene Butadiene Rubber with Green Oil
According to environmental requirements in many countries, the use of highly
aromatic oils in the production of tire is prohibited, and green oil (TDAE) has
been introduced as an appropriate replacement. These oils, in
addition to having a smaller amount of heavy and very harmful compounds for
human health, reduce the rolling resistance of the tire due to lower glass
transition temperatures than those with a high percentage of conventional
aromaticity.
